Thanks Guys! Those lowers really make it stand out. I had a tri glide and this hannigan with IRS put it to shame. Was looking for a Venture with a Hannigan and they are few and far between. This was only 60 miles from home. I got extremely lucky. One good ride and I pulled out the cash done deal...

A good looking trike, and performs well, according to your report. It appears well-built, with a high level of fit and finish. I wonder if the VMax cyl heads will fit?

A couple of guys I worked with on fire/rescue are retired in Lake Placid, and I've ridden there on two wheels, human-powered for a century ride. It's a good place to visit. Been to Sebring for the 12 Hours race too. I think they still prohibit motorcycles, a vestige of the 1%'ers not being wanted.

Looking at the 'from the back' view reminds me of Ken Norton in his prime. Tom Wolfe once compared Norton's trapezius and deltoids to the hood of a cobra, the biggest in heavyweight boxing.

If anyone needs reminding of who he was:

He broke Ali's jaw. One of the few to beat Ali.

Norton breaks Ali's jaw and wins.png

Norton's 'swing from the hips' punches allegedly gave Ali fits, defending them.

Man, I remember those days! I was a big fan of Ken Norton, loved that fight between him and Ali. If you ever get a trike consider that Hannigan kit. Well worth the extra cost. You would absolutely love the ride!

I always liked the 2 wheeled Venture because of that batwing fairing that moves with you much better than a "fixed" type as on the GL. The bad was it was too top heavy for me on 2 wheels. On the trike tho thats no longer an issue.

Ali is the greatest of all time!!! Nothing against Norton but Ali was a beast.

He broke his jaw in the second round and Ali still fought the whole fight. Norton did win that fight in a split decision which was very controversial. Obviously it was before my time but i have researched Ali very extensively since I've been a kid and he is by far pound for pound the greatest of all time. Now his defiance against the government and going to war was definitely one of his worst moments and he should've been punished severely.

Oh by the way very nice bike buddy sorry I got side tracked when I seen the Ali post.
