hello all, im not quite sure but i am replacing my case cover gasket stator side and a piece fell out not sure where it goes?????

I want to say it goes behing the pie thingy but fits on with the stator cover installed. Don't quote me on that, though. It's been a while since I took that cover off. I'm sure someone will be along in a bit to provide real help. can you rest the stator cover on there (it should hold with the magnets) and try it out to see which way it fits?

If it fell out it was misplaced. It should go inside the outer star shaped insert IIRC
 
grrrrrr, well now after everything put together, my charging is only at 11.9 volts when before it was at 14.0 any ideas what might have happened?????
 
Check the plug in connections for the stator to the regulator. Might have also pinched the wiring for the stator too?
 
Yeah found a stator wired pinched and exposed re-spliced and heat shrink hope that works thanks Sean
