New River Gorge trip

took a trip to the new river gorge bridge in WV last weekend with some friends.made a number of stops along the way(kanawha falls,the hawks nest state park and some others.we had awesome weather for this time of the year,stayed off the interstates most the time and just did some nice easy riding.total miles was around 570 for the saturday/sunday trip

Ive been there a few times myself, always wanted to go on bridge day but never made it. Thought that would be cool to watch them jump off .

I've also been there more than a few times.
I actually did the white water rafting trip 3 times (upper river once and lower river twice).

the weather was perfect,no doubt...we were lucky because we planned it about 6 weeks ago.the bridge is almost 900 feet high if i remember correctly.we were talking to someone about the bridge day and they said there were around 1800 people signed up to base jump from it.the ride down was really nice,we went 33 east to 16 south to 60 to 19.nice scenery.
