Hi there, I want to put a nitrous kit on my vmax and was wondering if some of you already have a setup to show me..... I was thinking about a small wet shot directly in the trumpets (like the picture) in the air box.... What do you think?

I personally would tap the aluminum intake for the nozzles, also, I wouldn't run any more than a 50HP shot on a stock engine...............Have fun!!...............:punk:...............Tom.

Think Garrett had a set up like the one you pictured.

I drilled the intake runners as Tom suggested....seems to work better with the nitrous below the gasoline.

I ran a 9hp shot or 36hp overall.

No, sold the setup long ago. Not an ideal way to do it though. Should be in the intake. Here's another system we did on a flatslide bike. (On a side note I have a couple of used systems in our sale folders).

Here's a system my friend did, among other things.

I think Sean's used systems would be a decent deal, as he would probably be a source of tuning info if you bought it from him.

Looks nicer and neat when you install the fuel and nitrous solonoids in the air box and out of view

I always like a second nitrous solenoid inline as a safety in case the first one failed. Extra fuel isn't going to hurt the engine much but an uncontrolled nitrous flow is a bad day. I highly suggest this is you are using a progressive controller that flutters the solenoid which opens and closes it a LOT more then just the normal off/on button does.
