Greetings from Pennsylvania.

I'm the guy who had posters of a V Max on his bedroom wall in 1986.

But right now what I need is identifying this plug.

When I purchased this V Max I was told that the turn signal indicator on the dash was Disconnected because both blinkers would blink since the led upgrade. I recently installed a solid state flasher to cure the rapid Flash problem. Now I want to reconnect the turn signal indicator on the Mini -dash But can't find the wiring, While doing so I stumbled upon this unplugged connector which I don't know what it is for. Can you please point me in the right direction on both of these issues. Thanks in advance.

I suspect you may have a jet kit in that. The filter in the air cleaner? That may be from Sean Morley. Show us a pic of the VBoost manifold, please. Do you have COP's? What color are the wires? (red/white, and grey; red/white, and white; red/white, and orange; or red/white, and yellow)?

Hello.
Because you have LED indicator bulbs fitted, you cannot connect the dashboard lamp as is but need modification described below.

One end of the lamp connector goes to ground.

A diode is fitted to the two original wires with the diode cathodes connected to the other dashboard bulb connector.

The diode stops current flow to the pair of indicator bulbs that are not meant to flash.

I can post a wiring diagram if the above does not make sense.

Here's more pics of the Mystery connector and the rest. It seems to be sodered onto some kind of control box. I took a pic from behind as well. Look.

You have a COP conversion kit (likely from us) and the Muscle jet kit (also from us). The COP kit eliminates the need for the stock front coils but they are a bitch to remove so easier to just leave them in place and not use them anymore.

Thanks, those coils were also wrapped in loom and electrical tape, but when I replaced the spark plugs I noticed they were toasty so I removed the loom.
