OEM valve cover differences

Hi, Ive been having a issue with my valve cover leaking a ton of oil ever since I checked valve clearances, I purchased new gaskets but they still leaked so I got refunded and purchased some OEM ones, now these oem ones (26H-11193-01-00) have a line inbetween the valve halves, so it would be impossible to install, I was wondering if maybe I ordered the wrong part but its the exact part number seen in the diagrams. I have a 1989 vmax.

That’s normal. Just snip that little piece off.
