Very cool.......I love the variety of vehicles.

I wish i would have done this on my vmax before i sold it. I saw 150mph on the speedo one time and it still had more. The speedo on the vmaxs is off a little so more like 145 or so. Im sure i could have got pass 150mph at wilmington.

Rode down there earlier this year but didn't race the Vmax at it, you need a steering dampener and a few other odds and ends. I had a good time but there's no place to hide from the sun so bring a canopy if you can. If we go again next year I'll let ya know Mike :)

I called about how to set a bike up and other cost. I would have to put $500 into the bike and lethers that zip at least 240 around waist. also $50 to join and $200 to race so i wont be racing at all.

I dident see any info on motorcycle's. not sure we can run.

One day pass $200 non refoundable rain or shine.:ummm::ummm::ummm: Me thinks no.

Yea I don't have any interest in racing in it but $30 to watch isn't too bad so I'll probably ride up and watch, it's only about an hour and a half from home.

I would think long and hard before taking a Vmax over 150 unless it was SERIOUSLY setup for it.

You'd need a pretty serious Vmax to even hit 150mph actually. I thought about adding a steering dampener and a venture differential and trying it out by spraying in 5'th but I'll just stick to drag racing lol

I wonder if a stock vmax could even come close to a honest 150 mph? Before every starts spouting magazine blurbs from 25 years ago, I think it would be hard pressed with no fairings.

I am sure Vmax MIke will look into if any vmaxs have done the mile.

I know for a fact that my vmax hit 150 mph on speedo and still had more to go so i would have to say yes. from what i have read stock shows 154 mph so it would be a true 150 but it takes a long long time to get it done.

Have I got a different v-max then everybody else? At an indicated 130, I'm showing 9,200-9300 rpm. Without going to a bigger gear, I don't think you could go over 135. And my stock max won't pull more then about 9200 in top gear. I'm thinking as above a venture differential and spraying in 5'th would be the only way. I just don't think the stock differential would let you turn the rpms. I mean you have to turn like 11,000 rpm or something. I'd guess Sean or someone would have real numbers.
