Oil Filter: Baldwin B1402

Oil filter selection is very limited where I live. So far I can get the Yamaha OEM for $18.00 a piece (2.5" long filter) which is a bit pricey and is the short length filter. Found the FRAM PH7317 for $2.24 a piece, but I read somewhere here that they are not so good. Found a Baldwin B1402 for $6.00 a piece and is the 3.25" long filter.

I might go for the Baldwin but would like to hear from other Vmax owners if this filter is any good for my Vmax or whatever experience they have had if any.

Never used that one but Baldwin filters I've used in lots other equipment and sure are good. We use the fuel filters lots also....

The Baldwin B1402 is one of the filters that appear in the Motorcycle Oil Filter Cross Reference Chart with automobile filters, that would fit the Vmax 1200.
