Oil filter

I drained my oil yesterday before removing the clutch cover for a new coat of paint. I pulled the oil filter and discovered I have a "PCS1". I did some reading and apparantly it has a medical grade re-usable stainless steel filter. I couldn't find any information on the cleaning procedure so I washed it out in petrol, blew it clear with compressed air and I'm getting ready to reinstall it. Did I do the right thing or have I missed something ?

Those are re-usable and should be just fine to do so. They're $100+ a shot so good thing you didn't pitch it!

You do need to separate the shell and dump any garbage out of them though.

But then in the video they are using carb cleaner which is way more harsh... I'm sure he'll be fine

Just on website wash with gasoline .. Also seen on fleebay 94.00 dollars free ship I think
