Hey was wondering, Everytime I ride my bike now oil light comes on like at 3000 rpm and if i let of throttle it turns off, then I begin to accelerate again its fine, through each gear it will do this, if i start to give it some gas, the light will stay on till I shift or let off, any answers will help thanks

Its a known issue at higher rpms but not that low. Id check your oil level. Do a search here too to find out more

The oil light isn't an indication of pressure. When these bikes accelerate hard the oil is pushed back in the pan and the light
comes on. Normal oil pressure is maintained... Cycle One Off sells an oil pressure gauge that works great...

+1 Garrett, low oil level would be a suspect and should be checked first. The second thing I would do is get an oil pressure gauge connected to that engine, before my next ride.

Mine comes on as he describes. I keep my oil level halfway up the window. I think that is why it comes on so early. I've had mine apart and did pump upgrades as well as the coo pop stopper. Never saw any signs of an issue while I was in there.

If I were ever going to install a oil pressure gauge I would get something that has built in lighting and a better connection to the block. The gauges coo use in their kits are cheap IMO.
I believe these are the ones coo uses

I should say you are missing about a liter of oil... I had the same issue and that was the solution... add oil...

+1 on check your oil!

If it's not oil level, then check the diode block.
One of the parts in the diode block is a resistor which affects when the oil light comes on.

As mentioned in other posts check oil level, check oil pressure and I would add (is your oil filter stock?) I used none stock oil filters some were ok & didn't cause the oil light to come on with hard acceleration but others did, when I used a hi flow Scott cleanable oil filter the oil light use to come on with moderate acceleration, now I am using the 2003 FJR spin on filter (its a little bigger than the stock max filter) the light never comes on anymore even with T-boost at 3K RPM and very hard acceleration on hills.
Change your oil filter with motorcycle filter & see if that makes any difference.

Thanks guys for all the replies, I do have a stock motorcycle oil filter, and the oil level is fine, it should be halfway up the eye right, the line is there to indicate that, so i assume thats where it needs to be, but should I add a little bit more, will that help any, I will also look into all the other suggestions thanks again

I run my oil level nearly to the top of the sight glass and even after the temp gauge gets to normal the oil is still not at normal operating temp and the light will come on until the oil gets hot.

My level is to the top line but the oil light will still come on. A quick check of the oil pressure gauge shows that the pressure is good.
As Rhoy Carter stated, it takes a long time for the oil to heat up and thin out. And, even then the oil level light may come on under acceleration...
