It was just on the Pgh local news that a motorcyclist out ran State police reaching speeds of over 120 mph. I presume he was on his way to thunder in the valley in Johnstown Pa. From the looks of route 22 on the news. The police did give up on the pursuit after a good stretch of weaving between traffic and through construction zones. My guess a sportbike, but ANYWAY, if anyone at thunder sees a guy named Jay Lynch from Monroeville tell him he's ******!! The apparently did get his plate and will be arresting him for eluding and reckless endangerment. Not to say I'm a saint ( hell I probably outran at least ten cops) but I wasnt stupid enough to do it in the middle of the day on the way to a big bike event. Just sayin,

Its been 10 yrs or so since I've got a ticket and usually they are on the other side of the interstate going the opposite way. If I'm doing 80 , I just hold it right there and make them run the **** out of that Crown Victoria to catch up with me. I'm thinking he might just blow his engine before he gets to me, but it never happens. I always get the ticket, but it would just make my day if I saw that Crown Vic sling to pieces in my rear view mirror.
