I have a venture r1 regulator. I use the PC680 battery. I ride arround on a base and do alot of short rides like a pit bike. I have a switch to turn off my headlight to save on charging due to the many short runs. When the light is off I charge at 14.9 volts. Is this to much for the battery? I dont think it should be since it is an AGM.

Thanks
Jim

According to the Haynes manual (chapter 9)
Alternator nominal output = 14V, 25A @5000rpm
Regulated voltage output (no load) = 14V to 15V @5000rpm

Looks like you're Ok
