Don't worry when you get the carbs back the yelling will get quieter the more you twist your right wrist !!!!!! LOL
Lots of parts to come off in order to change the front valve cover gasket. Rear is a bit quicker. Neither is hard to do, it just takes some time. This is kind of off this subject but how involved of a job is it to change the valve cover gasket? do you guys usually change both at the same time and do the bolts need to be torqued? Also where do you guys order them from, I saw a few different venders on ebay but one is only $18 and the other is $46....... is there a difference?
THanks for helping a new guy out!
The Y missing and PJ1 changed to 100. Hmm. I'd install a Y and put the #90 back in, then go for a ride. Then, if it doesn't work? Send them out. I believe if you go to Danny's web site, all the cost are broken down for you. I recently did a set for someone and it's time consuming. I don't know how he can charge so little. He likes doing it and is excellent at it. It's well worth getting them done right.:bang head::rofl_200:I guess I'm going to pull the carbs and send them away..... My wife is going to kill me
Starting them young is very KOOL. Nice pic.I got the Y tank piece ****THANKS TO DAVESAX36**** he sent it to me for nothing! Haven't had a chance to ride it but I did have help putting it on!
Well......... I did not pull the carbs due to my work/wife/ a 2 and 3 yr old, but it seems like it's actually running better now! I think I need to find tune the A/F screws a little but all and all its ok. I also think it would help to sync the carbs, since I own a VMax and from what I have seen on this forum I think it would be wise to buy my own sync tool. Any tips for a first timer?! (Doing the sync)
kinda curious about this picture. What is the tube going between the carbs then down towards the read exhaust header? If it's your clutch cable you need to rerun it along the frame, and zip-tie it to it... My 7 month old grandson wants to help me out more than my 20 year old son, he is still pissed I am not giving him one of the 2 Vmaxes I have...lol Gotta earn the bike and respect it, not a beginners bike...I got the Y tank piece ****THANKS TO DAVESAX36**** he sent it to me for nothing! What do the Morgan ones cost? I briefly looked online and could only find UK prices and where can I find them?

Got a question, to drain the bowls, I noticed only drain tubes on one side of the bike, (right) shouldn't there be drain tubes on both sides?
Thought I read somewhere about when you do stage 7 they often get removed? wondering what's been done to this bike. no info from po, got from small dealer.
