That actually looks awesome. My friend saw this at a kit car rally a few weeks back and said the finish is just like the pros. now I just need a house with a garage and it's own oven. :eusa_dance:

I've used this system or similar. Just make sure the item to be
coated is really clean and then heat the item before you spray it.
If the part isn't warmed the powder won't cover it completly leaving
it with a matt look surface. Looks pretty good when done but
not as tough as the pro stuff. I did the pulleys and brackets on my
TA and was a bit disappointed. When I adjusted the belts the
powdercoat chipped off like paint. In the future I'll use a good
epoxy paint then bake it.
Good luck

thats what a guy i know uses. he did my scoops and they turned out great. he messed one scoop up and had to redo it. used a sandblaster large enough to stand in and it still took 2 hours to strip the powder coating off.

Scoops look great. Could be just the washer pushing
against the surface that caused the problem on my
brackets. I did the ps pump housing also and seemed
to scratch easily. Maybe it was the type of coating.:confused2:
Same company, what was strange was to clean up if
you made a mistake you had to bead blast it forever.
Weird. :ummm:

Awesome stuff.

I am going to get into this as soon as I have my garage big enough for an oven... gimmie a year ;)
