I needed to have my fork seals done, the shop I usually take my bike to charges $160 to do em. I decided to do them myself after reading on here that it wasn't too difficult. Thanks to Morley's YouTube vids on the subject, I was able to do the job. I also decided to use the $$ I was saving and get the progressive springs and do a 1" drop. Sean sent me everything I needed and even threw in an extra retaining clip that goes on top of the seal, mine was rusted.

Now, I know you CAN get the springs cheaper on Amazon, but the personal customer service provided by Sean himself is 100% above and beyond what you would ever receive from purchasing online. The videos Sean uploaded detail the procedure for installing the progressive springs, new seals, and a 1" drop. I followed them precisely and am very satisfied with the handling improvements.

My only question/concern. My bike doesn't feel any lower.

You put a short spring on the damper?
Get the front tire off the ground and measure from the top of the fork tube (chrome cap removed) to the center of the axle.

It has the stock 1" spring and 1 extra 1" spring which was provided. Cut the preload tube off 1" to compensate, as instructed in the vid and provided instructions. I will measure like you said when I get home.

maybe you were expecting a greater 'feel' to the drop? sounds like you did it right.

Yep you only feel the performance difference.
Remember you probably had 1 inch in sag from the stock springs as it is so your ride height is probably the same, just stiffer with the progressive.
