everyone that race's has a need for one . Todd you cant shift that fast. If you had one you would pick up 1 to 2 tenth maybe three.

I think it might be possible to pick up a .1, but not much more than that.

Maybe someone with a full out race bike that knows his bike well and can race well but i would think our street set up's would gain a tenth in the 1st to 2nd shift alone.

Thats about the only place you would gain it I would think if your foot shifting.

Other than that.... 2nd gear up, I never let off the throttle and only blip the clutch lever. The measurement in nano seconds it would save probably wouldn't amount to much in a quarter mile. The quickshifters were designed for road racers. It just sound bad ass under full throttle.

When I am racing I go wot and never back off the throttle. I load the shifter and fan the clutch
When I go 1-2 I usually get just a little front wheel lift
After installing the quick shifter I no longer get the front wheel lift
That shows how much faster and more linear the power is with the quick shifter
I was surprised at the difference
While I don't track race I do a big of street racing
