radiator leaking

Is there a good way to find a leak in the radiator? I have it off the bike now and what to find and fix the leak. Can i plug it up fill it with water and shoot some air into it to find the leak or can this damage somthing? Thanks.

Normally radiators are pressurized and dumped into a tank filled with water. The other way around may not work because if the hole is very tiny it may only be evident after the metal expands.

The vent cap was designed to let off around 14psi so you are good to pressurize at least that high.

When I find the leak what will be the best way to fix it? The farmer in me says jb weld.

Braze it.

JB Weld wont work unless its the endtank.

Do not under any circumstance get the bright idea to use radiator stop leak.
