It's not really on the market yet but it's a bike I spent most of the winter before last working on and know very well. The guy called me up tonight and told me his health is dictating that he sells his VMax. Said he's thinking in the $5000 range, IMO it's worth every penny. It's a pristine, completely original (except for new ME 880's and Progressive fork springs) '96 with 17K.
Anyone interested shoot me a PM, I'll get him a message.
Here's what we did to it, total cost was around $1600 - $1800:
-rebuilt carbs
-completely rebuilt front & rear braking systems
-rebuilt clutch master & slave
-Progressive fork springs
-all new fluids
-disconnected/di-electric greased/reconnected all electrical connections
Bike was ridden about 700 miles after the above work was done (which included the drive back to Detroit.
