rear brake pad removal

Instructions please..cap that says remove for serviceing doesnt want to come off..& I dont want to force it. thanx...

Plastic cap? Squeeze and pull up or carefully push in and pop up with a screwdriver

That thing was on since 85, surprised i didnt break it. frickin tight.

That plastic gets pretty brittle after 26 years, probably cost around $10 to replace with a new one.
