I'd like to get rid of the rear fender overhang and get the tag up where it looks better, how is this done...a kit, bag of misc parts?

I'm not aware of a kit.

Exactrep sell a "shorty" fender.

Plenty of guys have carved up the OEM fender to suit their taste or removed it completely.

You can also just mount the plate with this kit and swap out your tail light to one with integrated signals like this:

I removed the fender and moved the licence plate mount to the inner fender. The brake light was mounted where the stock reflector was.

The Bad Bones bike looks great! The fork gaiters really give it a cool old school vibe, along with the wrapped pipes.
More monkey bites! Ouch!!

This is all your fault, guys. Now I'm becoming addicted to the Mod Monkeys charms. I held off as long as I can... I'm hooked.
