Removing broken bolt stud

I screwed up when trying to change rear diff oil on my truck and broke the head off of one of the bolts. I dont think anyones ever changed the diff oil in its 33 year life, it looks like diahreah.

I sprayed it with pb blaster before i gave up on it tonight. Whats the best way to get it out? Thanks for your help on my non bike related screw up. :bang head:

I'm guessing it broke off flush? I'd drill it and try an easy out bit before using the easy out heat the metal around the bolt making it expand and then use the extractor. There are other prducts that you spray on the bolts that are very cold that shrink the bolt and also have lubricant which makes them come out easier. Either way, buy a left handed drill bit and some easy outs.
