just wow, sleek, beautiful :)
How's the monoshock ? :)

What are you using for the front cylinders ?

Planning to PC the headers and to paint the muffler in black ? :)

Sorry, so many question, it's the just too much emotion lol

Przemek, your bike looks dope! And like it runs as good as it looks, too.

Love the front end, and the rear, and the wheels, and the bodywork, and the paint.

Rocking! :worthy::worthy::worthy:

Thanks my friends for such a good words.

Michael:
I use to have all v-max painted in black. For the first tought it was badass!
Then I realized that it looked like a one big black DOT. not necesserly
good idea to make your bike totaly black.
I like the paint, I ilke some alu and chrome, some black with that red coloring.
Now I can see the many parts in my bike, not only the black dot.
But evryone have his own.

Monoshock works very good, not perfect, as suspected some problems like always.
I have some problems due the wrong bearings, but bought good bearings
today and will install them at night.
Propably i will end with RaceTech harder spring which is not a problem.
Just need some more testings.

For now after 300miles i know it works which is mine personal succes and
I know that i need harder front end springs.
Propably will buy complete new springs.

I really agree about the comment on the paint.
I love full black, but keeping some chrome or alu keep the signature of the v-max :)
I'm planning to keep scopes, radiator covers and vstax chromed.

Actually I really love the color you chose.
I didn't see many like that, really look wow.
I might just have added a carbon sleeve on the muffler :)

so about the master cylinders ? I'm already checking ebay, but scared to make a wrong choice even if I know they are 14mm type.

This is original paint from Alfa Romeo :D

Those are zx14 master cylinders.
And heres the one thing I need to do:
Machine some nice reserviors couse those are ugly :)

More updates.

I went with new rear master cylinder with bulit in reservior.
This one is a chinesse crappy for over 15$ new but it works very good.
Its 1/2" piston.
When I'll get some more funds I'll buy Nissin brand master from HONDA CRF 250/450 which looks like this.
Why im doing this?
More space for bigger tank which will follow soon.

About monoshock.
Evrything works very good. Put about 500 miles total with this setup.
For now im traveling with screwdriver and im trying to find the best setup with
rebound and damping for front fork and rear monoshok.
I dare anyone to call it simple couse its not that easy.
When You have brand new bike its simple but when you're converting the whole suspension for a new it may be not that easy.

I have now almost perfect setup and whole suspension works wonderfull.
I will find the ideal setup eventualy, just need some more ride.

I know that I need harder springs couse im riding with springs fully preloaded
for now and its good, but with passanger it may not.
Already ordered the spring set form Racetech, with Sean's help - thank you!

For ride after ride Im pushing the bike harder, some serious wheelies today - one on the 2nd gear with Venture pumpking! - yep, that is 1300cc setup from Morley Muscle and my invention with lightweighting the whole bike.

After each ride im diassembling the whole monoshock setup and Im checking
evrything. No wear or any damage.

Need to take care of recovering the seats which will follow by Morley Muscle.
For now i can tell: done.

Looks very good but id rather want to machine mine own reserviors.
I think I can machine them for about 10?.

Im happy with current rear master, works good.
Piston is the same diameter as the stock master.
I will replace this chinesse metal piston and those crappy seals with OEM
Yamaha rebuild kit.

Well, Kenny is not goin to post any more infos about his suppousedly great deal with 20l tank for 5 bucks. Left him a profile massage but no answer.
Dunno why he posted that and why he is not goin to answer me.
Maybe he dont like me?
Dunno but thats ok, no offence taken. God bless you Kenny...

In meanwhile after some serious playing with gas tank i was able to reach 19,4L.
In the first try i hit 24l(theoretical calculated capacity) but I wasnt able to remove that son of a ***** form the frame grrr. It could be done with that capacity but only by upgrading the right rear frame rail to work exactly like the left rail.
Well, what i was bale to hit is exactly 19,4l messured with gasoline.

Sorry for crap cellphone pics.
Its not the beauty of the year, it works, its not leaking.
Its a prototype, I plan to make grillon one but that will be a long way to go.
Firstble im gonna try with fiberglass. Time will show the results.

Tank is not visible while instaled in the frame and personaly i dont give a crap of mint lookin evrything on mine bike. Im not a hardley runner...
I've got that tank for free, was badly damaged and i spent about a week with straightenign this. IMO I succeed.

Useable capacity is about 19l couse big inside fuel pump with fuel level sensor. Sensor works very fine with my koso speedo.
However some changes to sender must be done.

I need to decrese the power to fuel pump couse i do not have pump control unit and I dont think that runnging the fuel pump all the time at max power is a good idea.
Fuel pressure regulator is mounted at the stock pump place.

Fuel pump gives about 4 psi to the carbs right now. Im gonna run with
this setup on carbs.

When situation with megasquirt 3 comes clarity this will be ready to use fuel suply for the efi project. I have almost finished 42mm throttle bodies.

Pics will follow.

If you can make those at a decent price you will get a LOT of buyers...

This has to be the most under-exploited Vmax upgrade I can think of, and it's valid for both Gen I and Gen II.

Przemek, you rock.

Thanks G.

I was thinkin about that way. I have a fella from abs/grillon/plastic bizness.
I must talk to him.
But first im gonna try with fiberglass.

I even have a solution with "evryone can do" battery relocation. Im working at this. It will be very simple 4 nuts bolt on bracket under the faux tank cover.

I know that custom bigger tanks are **** prices. Im sure i can make them at about half of that price.

Just need some more time.

Stay tuned.

How many of you guys will be intrested in the 19,4l gas tank. Completly bolt on
using stock fuel pump wirh optional fuel level sender. With bolt-on bracket for the battery relocation and even new gel 20Ah battery in the kit?

Im sure it will be very affordable.

Holy cow Przemek how many hours would you say you have into this project? Very creative and the bike looks bad ***. Nice custom work!

Your wife must be more understanding than mine is!

Thank You.

I dont count LOL
Many many...
I have this 99 for about 2 years and just after she comes to my house I started changing something. What was that? :ummm: Oh yeah, solid motor mounts :biglaugh:

My wife is not understanding LOL
Like my mentor Sean, im working mostly at night when she sleeps LOL

I must say that i have an big comfort. Im a machinist so I dont need to pay zillions coins for the machining. Same with designing, plannign etc.
Also I dont need to wait till someone will make something for me.

Curently Im bulding 5 axis cnc machine at work. Quite soon enough I wiil have much more machinery posibilities and what most important: much saved time!

I can give You advise.
Im not sure what You wife likes but my wife loves dogs.
We bought Collie about year ago. She spends most of her free time with our dog so I can work in mine garage :biglaugh:

Have to get me up to date on our custom carb work we were looking at. Plus email me an idea where we are at with the stuff we have with you.

Sean

Sean
Carbs are ready, exactly the 1st stage machining, lathe.
Im gonna machine the outlets but that require CNC machining. Im curently at stage with creating the cad file for the carb body and then i need to create g-code program.

The guy who owns cnc mill that also i use lives at the "flood" area so i cant tell you when i will be able to do that.

Evrythig is little complicated now in PL.

I guess im luck with not living in the flood area...

And I got your shipment just this week at"Monday"!

Will shoot ya the email later.

Great work!
Hmm I see a giant "P" lighting up the skies over Krotoszyce. :punk:
Thanks.

LOL i must talk with Eaglepi so he can make one "batman" sing fo me LOL
Hes good with that :)

Sorry man, next evolution of Muscle Jet Kit. If everything works as planned this should easily outpower all the current flatslide setups (which we already dang near do). Might even out power the EFI stuff (which only makes more power due to the larger manifolds).

Not sure where Prezmek and I will be on price but we will get something worked out.

This isn't the first time it's been done but we are taking it to the next level.

Sean

damnit Sean. Stop it. I was finally 'happy' with my tune. yea yea the nitrous will be fun. you gotta stop this. my poor wallet...
