Well, Kenny is not goin to post any more infos about his suppousedly great deal with 20l tank for 5 bucks. Left him a profile massage but no answer.
Dunno why he posted that and why he is not goin to answer me.
Maybe he dont like me?
Dunno but thats ok, no offence taken. God bless you Kenny...
In meanwhile after some serious playing with gas tank i was able to reach 19,4L.
In the first try i hit 24l(theoretical calculated capacity) but I wasnt able to remove that son of a ***** form the frame grrr. It could be done with that capacity but only by upgrading the right rear frame rail to work exactly like the left rail.
Well, what i was bale to hit is exactly 19,4l messured with gasoline.
Sorry for crap cellphone pics.
Its not the beauty of the year, it works, its not leaking.
Its a prototype, I plan to make grillon one but that will be a long way to go.
Firstble im gonna try with fiberglass. Time will show the results.
Tank is not visible while instaled in the frame and personaly i dont give a crap of mint lookin evrything on mine bike. Im not a hardley runner...
I've got that tank for free, was badly damaged and i spent about a week with straightenign this. IMO I succeed.
Useable capacity is about 19l couse big inside fuel pump with fuel level sensor. Sensor works very fine with my koso speedo.
However some changes to sender must be done.
I need to decrese the power to fuel pump couse i do not have pump control unit and I dont think that runnging the fuel pump all the time at max power is a good idea.
Fuel pressure regulator is mounted at the stock pump place.
Fuel pump gives about 4 psi to the carbs right now. Im gonna run with
this setup on carbs.
When situation with megasquirt 3 comes clarity this will be ready to use fuel suply for the efi project. I have almost finished 42mm throttle bodies.
Pics will follow.
