Say a prayer

For those of you who believe in prayer if you could say one for my longtime friend and boss it would be appreciated. His name is George. He lives near Pittsburgh, PA. George is a Harley guy, but that does not mean he is bad. He's one of the nicest guys I know. He was out and about yesterday with his two sons on a ride when an oncoming truck swerved over the yellow line and smashed into his side. His one son directly behind him got bumped in the incident but didn't go down. George suffered multiple broken bones and severe road rash. He was conscious after the accident and aware, all seemed good in regards to not having any head trauma. He was taken to the hospital in a helicopter and we are waiting to hear results from the doctors about wether or not there are internal damages or possibly broken vertebrae in his back. I hope we get good news.

Thanks to all who have said a prayer for George! He has been doing well with his recovery. He is still hurting badly but he is no longer in a wheelchair, his hospital bed was removed from his home 2 weeks ago, and he can walk with a cane. This weekend a friend and I went over and he was feeling up to an outing so we pulled his bike out for him (new one from the insurance co) and went for a ride. He probably should not be riding but I know if we didn't go with him, he'd be going alone. I think it was more of one of those things that he needed to prove to himself that he could do it. Anyways, I think it gave him some motivation to get out and to keep healing cause he knows too that he still has a way to go. Thanks all again for the kind words.
