PatMax & I talked & we are going to do my shed/garage cleanout on not this sunday but next Sunday the 14 starting at 9:30 AM Not really any aftermarket stuff left just mainly stock parts. I am keeping very little for my self the rest I will be making deals on. This is not a tech day this is basically a work day pulling stuff out of the garage & shed & sorting stuff trying to see what all is in there just lots of unorganized mic stuff.

That day & time works for me, pencil me in

Kyle we should kinda put a list together of what I have VS what you'll need for #217 , that way neither one of us saves anything we don't need .

Sounds good to me that is about all I really want to save is stuff for it . I do have one complete engine I am saving & a transmission which I will take over to MRE & have undercut if I have the cash. I am going to try & go thru there & find what I think I need off the top of my head for 217 which is most of the bike.LOL

217 ran and motor # matches frame #, motor sounded ok . I believe the tranny was bad.

I'm in of course. I'm bringing my bandana to keep the sweat out of my eyes as I planning on working that day. We always have a great time talking Vmax, life and whatever. If anyone is a hour or two away, you should try to make it. Looking forward to a "Last Hurrah".
Hoping the weather cooperates and Kyle ends up with a douched out shed, a naked garage and a truck bed of scrap metal.
BE THERE !!!

There will be one last Hurrah after this one but it will be no working involved except for me smoking some brisket & ribs . It will be our last big porch party:punk:

OK, just a BUMP on this thread. C'mon, Ninjaneer, you ain't got nothing better to do. Cracker, I'll see you. Dave of course. How about DodgeDiesel?
Many hands make the work light. I can probably haul anything south two hours from Kyle's if anyone needs anything. Hope it is a bright sunny morning.
See ya all there.

Thanks for the bump. I sure would like to see a lot of this gone specially the frame from my 89. I might even let my basically new MRE Air shifter go.

Can I get the rubber/steel inserts from the shocks (1 at each end)? They pop out easily with a press.

If I would have seen this earlier I would have happily given them to you but we ended up with a much bigger pile than this & when we put the stuff in the scrap bin the shocks were the first thing that went in so they are buried. I also sold my press along with one of my lifts & bead blaster a couple weeks ago so I no longer have a press.

I'd say I left more than just happy. I enough cores for Powdercoating that everyone on this Forum will be running my parts. I had a great time and it's hardly work with two great guys like Kyle and Larry. I even got a free lunch! Can you believe they were even giving away free beer!
I left tired but happy knowing I helped out a buddy tremendously. He helped me out tremendously in return. I'm gonna miss the crap outta this guy when he is no longer two hours away. There are none better! Thanks Kyle.
Sean, let us know when you are ******** out the Derby complex!
