Shipping Max Across the Country

I bought an '05 Vmax on E-bay on Sunday, less than 1300 miles on 'er ! Unfortunately, I am in Seattle and the Max is in North Carolina. That means shipment will be 1-2 weeks. The Broker says to be very careful hiring an outfit as most shippers are "scary". He said that he thinks this one is ok: http://www.motorcycleshippers.com/.

Anybody use these guys or know of a good coast-to-coast shipping outfit?

There are several out there, that one is one of the better ones. My chopper was sent from Daytona Custom Works to Seattle, then barged to Alaska in about 2 weeks .

I've heard good things about www.haulbikes.com as well.

I bought mine and had it shipped from NY to Iowa. I went with www.motorcycleshipping.biz and had good luck.

I ended-up going with http://www.motorcycleshippers.com/. That's the one (and the only one) that the broker likes. They seem to have their sh*t together on the phone and confirming e-mail etc.

Max won't be here until approx. March 7th :bang head:.

I'm sure I will be tracking progress on-line every day once it ships!
