I am planning to paint the whole bike and I could start with the side plates where you have the Vmax logo attached. Is this logo glued to the side plate? There is no screw or anything behind the plate so I would imagine just plain glue. Any special instructions or is it just carefully prying it with a screwdriver trying not to damage the aluminum plate?

Thanks, Al

Dental floss works good too....just don't pry it!!
+1, they are pretty resilient in their mounted position but start prying on them and they dent soo easily! Trying to get the dent(s) out are next to impossible, at least for a amatuer like me!:bang head:

He, He....done deal. Thanks. Yep..Rusty was right. It is better to do it with the side plate installed in the bike. The next one ...it will be. Did it the hard way since I had the side plate already removed. Not much of an issue, but it is a bit more difficult. Now the other one.

Thanks again, Vmaxers....Oh...here's a pic of the removed Vmax logo.

Al

Mod Edit: Did it with a 25 lbs fishing line. Snapped once.
