I think I picked up some crap fuel in one of the small towns I went through. I got a slight stumbling under 2k rpm. Plugged pilot perhaps. ? Did the pea shooter method...no change. Is there a simple fix, or carb removal time.? Once its above 3k, it runs clean. It idles fine as well.

Crap..I forgot all about that !! Thanks Dman

UPDATE- I counted the turns closed on the air flow screws............5 & 6 turns out ??? that cant be right ???

At 5-6 turns out you're lucky they didn't vibrate all the way out.
I think 7 turns out is as far as they can even go.

And TH is right, most guys start at 2.5 turns out and adjust from there.
Mine are at all between 2-1/8 and 2-1/4 out, they were set from 1-3/4 to 2-1/4 from the factory on my Vmax.

thank you all for your help. The carbs had to come off,....they were absolutely full of crap. I'm amazed it ran at all. Had to toss the fuel filter and flush the lines.
PROBLEM- I got it out of sync !! How do you BENCH Sync the linkage ? witch is the lead carb ? Do I start with Left or Right linkage set screw?
I don't know what the hell I was thinking touching the dam things in the first place. I should know better than that !!

Got it....was trying to do 3&4 first LOL. Its been a while since my last max. Start with butterfly's closed, set right screw & then left. didn't touch the screw on the left side of bike so it should still be ok. Thanks again Dman.

^ You really should have gotten a Carbtune or a Digisync.
The Fluid in the motion pro tends to get sucked into the motor.

^+1 I returned my motion the next day and got the morgan carbtune.
Air bubbles are hell on the MP.

My buddy put red marvels mystery oil in his and it worked perfect. He dumped the blue crap out. He read online that some one else used it and it was better for fine tuning.

Did some research, seems 74% of MMO is mineral oil witch is heavy. So I guess a person could use mineral oil as well. The blue crap evaporates because its water and glycol. What were they thinking ?

Great advice jinks for the substitution as I'm am sure it will change minds and certainly help the ones with the Motion Pro. Witch Oil?
Of course Marvel Mystery Oil helps everything. Good advice. Thanks.

Im on a learning curve here.........you cant get Marvels oil in Canada anymore.
so I picked up some Mineral oil from wallmart. Yup,...its heavy oil. I was going to color it with Food coloring but- oil & water DONT mix ! Messed up a couple trial ounces.
Hmmm.....2 stroke engine oil ! I put 20 drops in and it worked,..now I can see it, LOL
What the hell do you use this stuff for anyway ? Its slippery like STP oil.

Correctors in the lines Miles?

#10 brass machine screws with the heads cut off, about 24mm long. Very snug fit into the rubber hose (windshield washer hose)
The vacuum air is forced to follow the path of the threads. The length of the screws can be varied to get absolutely no needle wobble!
Cheers!
