Somethin' weird going on here!!

COPRUNNER and I were talkin on the phone last night and he asked to talk with my wife....she takes the phone into the other room and begins talking very quietly so I couldn't hear anything. I think, "This is a little odd!"

Then a short while later I smell brownies in the oven! I think, "This is also a little odd!"

My wife's an early riser and I usually sleep in on the weekends....prolly till around 8 or so, but this morning she comes in the bedroom a little before 7 and says, "Dannymax, you prolly want to get up."

"WHY would I want to do THAT!" Was my reply. Things are getting REALLY odd, now!!!

"It's such a nice morning, I thought you'd prolly want to get up, come on, your coffee's poured!" She says.

Now, this is getting REALLY strange....why....because she NEVER calls me Dannymax, that's why!! But anyway I get up, grab my already poured coffee and step out on the deck (BRC) to enjoy this nice morning.

It really was a nice morning but I only got to enjoy the quietude for about 2 minutes when the peaceful silence of the woods was shattered by the thundering sound of a v max with a set of Delkevic pipes, roaring up the road, tires spinning, shiny spikes glittering in the morning sun!!

OMG!! :surprise: It's COPRUNNER!! That madman got up somewhere around 3 o'clock this morning, left Jersey and drove about 3 1/2 hours to show up here for breakfast!!

Man, you couldda knocked me over with a needle jet!! :blink000:

So we ate some food, drank some coffee, had some laughs and ate some brownies....it was like he never left after BR10!! :rofl_200::rofl_200::rofl_200:

Thanks for making the effort Timmy....that was fun!! :worthy:

Now I'm not gonna lie, if I only lived 3.5 hours away I'd be there every weekend! BRC is a haven for great people, cool pets, Vmax's and brownies of course! :worthy::worthy::worthy:

IT WAS GREAT , I WAS DRAGGING MY ASS THOUGH , I FELL A SLEEP AT 1:00 A.M. & GOT UP AT 3:30 ( ONLY 2.5 HOURS SLEEP ) DRANK TWO 5 HOUR ENERGY DRINKS & PULLED OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY AT 3:55 . .. I WAS THE ONLY THING ON THE ROAD , IT WAS LIKE THE " TWILIGHT ZONE " , BUT AFTER THE FIRST 40 MILES ALL THE ROADS WERE WET AND STAYED WET FOR THE NEXT 140 MILES , THE CLOSER I GOT TO DANNY'S THE HEAVIER THE FOG GOT AND THE COLDER IT GOT , I ONLY HAD A SHIRT ON , I WAS FREEZING AT SOME POINTS AND DAMP , BUT THE FOG GOT SO HEAVY SOMETIMES THAT I HAD TO SLOW DOWN TO 30 MPH'S ! ... THEN I COME PULLING UP HIS DRIVEWAY , BURPING THE THROTTLE OF COARSE , I GET OFF THE BIKE AND HIS DOG " DUKE " CAME RUNNING , HE WAS SURE HAPPY TO SEE ME ! ... DANNY COMES WALKING DOWN AND I SAID " IS THERE A GOOD PLACE TO GET A COFFEE AROUND HERE ? " HE LAUGHED AND SAID THAT HE KNEW SOMETHING WAS UP WHEN I ASKED TO TALK TO HEIDI THE OTHER NIGHT AND THEN THAT SHE HAD MADE BROWNIES THE NIGHT BEFORE , BUT WHEN AT 7:05 A.M. HE HEARD A " V-MAX " HE KNEW IT WAS ME ! .. WE HUGGED AND LAUGHED , WENT INSIDE , HEIDI WHIPPED UP A GOURMET BREAKFAST OUT OF NOWHERE , SAUSAGE - EGGS - FRESH STRAWBERRIES & PEACHES AND A GALLON OF MUCH NEEDED COFFEE ! ... WE ALL TALKED AND LAUGHED FOR 4 HOURS , THEN I HAD TO GET ON MY WAY HOME TO TAKE MY SON TO THE BOAT RAMP , ! .. SO I ATE SOME BROWNIES AND THEN ME AND DANNY DID SOME RIDDING FOR ABOUT 40 - 50 MILES , THEN WE STOPPED AND TALKED FOR A MINUTE , THEN I HIT THE ROAD & CRANKED MY WAY HOME ! .. THEY ARE THE NICEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD ! .. I WISH I COULD STAY THERE FOREVER ! .. THANK YOU HEIDI & DANNY FOR WELCOMING ME INTO YOUR HOME AND TREATING ME LIKE A KING ! I was over at a buddy's house one time and his neighbor was bugging him for a chain saw so I cart wheeled into the back yard and hung out in the tree house for a while till the noise settled down then it was time for some really gooey home made Mack and cheese. Got some of that! That's when I noticed the difference between a regular cheap napkin and a spendier brand. Same for paper plates, those cheap ones really suck. The pool is a convenient place to wash up after a snack like that, I must have walked two or three blocks till I found one. They must use the same kind of water as my old high school did because it tasted the same. Kinda like when you get punched in the nose, not too hard, just hard enough to smell and taste that chlorine tang ya know. Wonder where that comes from...Anyhow when I got back they were still trying to get the saw going, I swore up and down that the chain was on backwards. It started an argument, I was in a hurry for it to go so I could prove it was and my bud got aggravated saying it wasn't because his dad put it on like 20 years ago and it worked the last time it ran. Never got it running, gas was bad is what my thoughts were buy once again I was wrong! I could have chopped this piss ant tree down with a hatchet by this time and I was in desperate need of another brownie. Which brings me to another interesting story on how I got kicked out of the boy scouts for eating a brownie...But that's for another time.

MAN I ALMOST FORGOT , WHEN I LEFT DANNY'S HOUSE , ME & DANNY RODE INTO TOWN TO FUEL UP , AND THEN JUST BEFORE THE TACONIC PARKWAY , WE WERE COMING AROUND THIS LONG SWEEPING RIGHT-HANDER AND I NOTICED THERE WAS THIS TINY BABY TURTLE ON THE SHOULDER OF THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD , TRYING TO CROSS , I STARTED TO SLOW DOWN BUT THERE WAS 2 CARS COMING THE OTHER WAY , SO THEN I WAS UNDECIDED WHETHER I SHOULD STOP , THINKING THAT IT MUST OF GOTTEN HIT , BUT THEN I KNEW IF I DIDN'T STOP , THAT I WOULD THINK ABOUT THAT TURTLE FOR THE REST OF THE DAY , I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO GET DANNY'S ATTENTION SO I JAMMED ON MY BRAKES AND TURNED AROUND , I GO CRANKING AROUND THE BEND & THERE IT WAS , RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD , I COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT IT DIDN'T GET HIT ! .. Aparrantly not ALL creatures great & small perished in the napalm blast!!
