Hello all, I am a few days away from returning home and purchasing a 2003 Vmax 26k miles. Was wondering what to look out for anything specific (. i am not mechanically inclined but if i know what to look for and test i should be ok). I have been reading through forums and videos and seen things to check out for like bad fork seals etc but anything specific for the vmax? Also looking heavily for a hard mounted saddle bag kits mounts etc. Have used Givi in the past not sure if they are available here. Not super familiar with Yamahas my last was a 1980 xs1100 12 years ago, since i have ridden Kawasaki, & Honda's but finally a vmax came up in my range to buy and not sure if there are parts from perhaps vstar or other yamahas that are compatible with vmax?
