stabil marine formula

just wanted ta let yuz know. i stored my max last fall with stabil marine formula"the blue stuff". i used about 3 times the amount recommended on the container along with a full tank of fresh fuel. i ran the bike approx 5 miles after that to the place where she sleeps lol.

when i fired it up yesterday it never flopped over more than 3 or 4 times and was runnin mint!!! no carb pops or hesitation or anything!! so i have to give a big kuddo to that blue stuff:rofl_200:

Thanks Mr! Didn't even know there was such a thing, is it a 'specialty' item, like marina's only, or can it be found at the local Wal-Mart like the red stuff?

walmart has it, yes as do most auto parts stores.

i've always gone UNDER the recommended amount. heard horror stories of that stuff (stabil type things in general) turning gas to sludge.
