Had it two weeks. The paint was profesionaly done and in great shape....only the colors oh man the colors and "water splash graphics" eeeeeh Dont want to offend the p.o so Ill just leave it at that (fenders picture below) blue was ok but blue&yellow/water splash.......nope
I actually had the tank 80% repainted and polished though I did not realise I used flat fn gloss like a genius I couldnt figure out what the hell i was doing wrong. Frustrated I decided to resand and prep even changed colors from blue to graphite and after all that I finaly saw the can of clearcoat said FLAT GLOSS. Wonderful ! no biggie Ive never used or polished clearcoat anyhow figure by next year I wana change paint again . The tank shows the re sanded finish with blue no clear coat , engine enamel with ceracote 400*f and chemical proof and some gloss grey. Tomorow Ill decide wich of the 3 looks best in sun, but Im almost certain im using the graphite engine enamel no clear coat. Ive used it before on a AK and got good results years after heating the barrel break down and cleaning with solvents also touch up is easy n cheap. Its tuff stuff.
