Yep, that is an incredibly clean installation....

Too bad magnacharger is so half hearted/half-assed about thier efforts to produce/support a unit for the Max.

That is a clean install and produces some pretty good numbers. That's the beauty of fuel injection over carbs, easier bolt on mods.

It's all about the numbers Rusty, as you know. Not enough Maxes being sold to warrant a production for it. No doubt the V-Rods will sell at least 10-1 over a Max and the chances are much greater for good sales for the Harley. God knows they'll need this anyway when the new Max appears and it just won't be enough then anyway.

Still a lot of beans for the parts Buster. Mass production of such a unit by Yamaha would be under $2K and if they don't come out with the new bike, many current maxers would invest in another 40-50 ponies. This is something the factory should have made available to us as an upgrade in the last ?? years.
