sync screw

Does anyone have their #3&#4 sync screws all the way in? When I sync with my motion pro those two are all the way in,when I back them out the idle shoots up like crazy. The bike runs great and I have 4into2 full ufo exhaust and stage 7. Is there something I need to do or what?

My bad. You are discussing sync screws, and yet for some reason, my brain was registering the A/F screw adjustments being all the way in.

When you say 'all the way in' do you mean there is no adjustment left? If that's the case the sync tabs need to be 're-adjusted' (bent) to get more travel.

+1. Danny told me one time that the screws are easy to bend. You can even drop the bike and bend the tabs.

This is true, I think it's a built-in field fix for the Yamaha production line guys.
