Haven't been posting much lately, must be cause I bought this new (05) Taco. :biglaugh:

Oh yeah, I have also been baking yummies.......fresh Peach/Huckleberry Cobbler! :clapping:

I saw the thread title "Taco Time", and hoping against hope, I clicked it - only a tyruck! (but a nice one!) I was hoping for ****!

My buddy has an '06 Taco and loves it... Other than it being an auto which he kicks himself to this day for buying... He has one issue with the abs in the snow and ice. He says when the wheels are spinning and you hit the brakes they won't stop the wheels... He says ABS kicks in and doesn't allow it. Sounds WRONG to me so let me know how you fare!:confused2:

Yeppers, 6 speed manual is the way to go, I won't drive a automobile that isn't a manual.
Too many variables out here to depend on an automatic.

Yep, the Taco is a damn good looking truck. With a 6-spd tranny do you get that "I can idle up a 45% grade" grearing? What size motor? That is all for now, carry on!

4-low in 1st with the Rear Diff in Lock is a great crawler.
