Temp Gauge

When stoped for a while the temp gauge goes up from Half way to three Quarter's is this Normal? are do I have a problem 2009 -600 miles on it.
98 to 100 degrees in texas now -August-:ummm::confused2:

Dont have a Gen 2 but it seems normal if you dont have any air flow across the radiator

I would agree, when sitting still my 85 does the same.If you look at my pictures you will see my solution...A BIG FAT secondary radiator fan mounted on the front of the radiator for a little more insurance that Im not boiling over.

as long as the fan(s) kick in and the temp stays there or goes back down, you're good.

Thats what they do with me every time I ask them something about my bike and thats why they don`t work on it.:ummm::confused2::smileystooges::surprise::hmmm::wacko::sad2::doh::th_help::th_skullsmilie:

Ditto! 180 miles on my "09 here in Arizona and my temperature gauge is often on the 3/4 mark.
