Happy to bring the max back tonight, been buried in the back of my mechanics shop for over 6 months. After several mods and fixing a few issues + new rubber I can now complete the cosmetic mods and hit the road. Can't wait to introduce the neighborhood to the sound of a modded max! Anyway, here are a few pics, forgive the dust as it's going to get cleaned tomorrow.

Hooray! Glad your getting her back on the road! I have always liked the tri-spoke wheels and I see your sporting one of those nice and comfy Maxgassers!
Post up some more pics once you get her on the road.:punk:

+ 1 And I believe its one of the first five MAXGASSERs

Thanks guys, took it out for a mini shake down, no tags yet. Felt good thru third gear anyway. The maxgasser seat was a deal, traded a stock seat + 185.00 for it. I am a big guy so I will have to see how I like it. I will make some more pics later after I get it back together.

That was a deal. If your at or above the 250 mark , it may "push" you to far forward , there are quite a few " big" guys that find it better then stock but it comes down to personal preference.

BTW , loud pipes and no tags is not a good combination......

OK guys, need some input...been working on a little paint & customization. Which do you like?

Left side is satin aluminum accents along with Flat black paint.

Right side is all Flat black except fins on motor.

Which would you go with?

I vote left side.

Lefty. Aluminum for the scoop, not any black. I also like an aluminum 'tin' side cover, no black. The pale gold insert for the clutch cover. Get some of the exactrep freeze plug horizontally-finned covers w/aluminum highlights. Keep the bright carb "chrome" covers.
