I have never run across one of these good deals on bike like some of you have..... either free or dirt cheep! :bang head: mine always seems to be on tools or equipment. Like last night I went on a Craigslist purchase trip to purchase one of those industrial floor buffer/ polishers. Most of the ones I have ran across were always around $275 min, so when you see one for $100 you jump on it right :confused2:. Now first a little quick story.... I am about 700 miles from home working. So I get over to this house this older guy comes out and he is very hard to understand. I get that he is going through a divorce and is selling everything. We load up the buffer and I ask him "so everything is for sale, huh?" He replys "yes everything". This is where it starts.... I ask about this trenching attachment that goes on the front of a Bobcat loader, new they are $5,500 + shipping and taxes just an FYI. We look at it and the chain is off of it and overall appearance the thing looks to be in damn good shape for an older machine... Then the price .... I ask him how much and tells me to offer him an amount. I play dumb because I don't want to insult him yet I am a poor ******* too! Then he says $500 and it is yours! HOLY crap! SOLD SOLD I wanted to yell it out so loud but had to contain myself. Even if some thing is wrong with it the parts are not all that much and there is obviously enough room in that price to buy parts.... :punk: I am happy and it is my B-day literally LMAO there is my kick *** deal story

We had one we put on our 753 and S185 a few years back. They definitely come in handy but when you get into tough digging I found that it would drag the entire loader into your excavation area. I'm sure your familiar, seems like you work around this stuff everyday.

We did a lot of ditching with it for conduits and ground mats. Also a lot of work with the hoe-ram. We traded ours in for credit on a new 331 excavator. I think we got about $4k for it and it lived a tortured life. Sounds like you got GREAT DEAL!

Oh, and happy birthday!

Thanks Guys! Yeah never walk away from a smokin' deal even if it takes a "Smack!, SHUT your mouth woman!" LMAO HA HA!

No I scored the Bobcat about 7 years ago when it was only 8 years old. I purchased it for $1,500! :punk: granted it needed new tires, lights, a seat and an engine. Total with purchase I had only $7,000 in it and it was worth right around $13,000 running. So that was a score back then too. LOL :rofl_200:
