Todays Tn Road trip

Well I went out to inspect an Eleanor Mustang today for a customer & it was just ok but nothing to write home about but it was kind of like an America Picker day the guy with the Mustang said why don't you go about 10 miles down the road & see if Mike is at his shop & if he has time to talk with you. Well mike was there & I ask him if he had any 60's 70's cars he wanted to sell & he said sure follow me about a half mile down the road to my house. HE had a whole field full of stuff & several 18 wheeler trailers with cars in them some drivers some parts cars. I am a little bummed because his Superbird was not there but he is supposed to send me some pictures of it. I took a few pics I wished I could have wondered thru the field but I did not want to be pushy.

That car had everything fully loaded from the factory. It was taken off the frame a while back & done nice. All date coded glass & complete matching numbers . It needed a good detail from sitting but that's it.

The Mustang guy also had this sitting out there. It was a True GT 500 Shelby they put a lot of work into it but ruined the value. Everything on it was 2009 except the body. Its probably not worth as much now as it was original.

Did that Impala have a 409? I love that body style, my brother had a blue convertible with a 4 speed, not sure the size of the engine, I think it was a '63 though.

Nope it was a 327 if it was a 409 I could have had it sold for him for sure. Its still a nice car though.
