Does anybody have the tool to grip that funky nut thingy on the dampening rod ??
I am trying to change my fork seals , and after watching the video that Sean made, The damn seals are glued in or something `cause I can`t get them to pop out and the alan bolt in the bottom just keeps spinning round & round ( I don`t have an impact gun or compressor) when I losened it with a wratchet.
I really don`t want to take it to the dealer to have them do it if I can do it myself.

I have one you can use Dave, PM me your address and I'll ship it out to you. I made it to fit my '99 and would think your '01 would be the same.

i've found putting the forks back together and compressing as far as u can go will put enough pressur eon the damper to stop it from spinning..
