Just wondering if there were any toy soldier collectors here. We have a huge collection we are going to be getting rid of. I have done some research & know there just not run of the mill plastic toy soldiers. I am going to do some more digging but I figured some one here might know something about them to & could help lead me in the right direction. I think were going to end up with an appraiser unless I study & read books for a few weeks strait.

That's a helluva collection !!

Yes & it is going to take me forever if I have to figure them out piece by piece. I figured a couple out. These things go from like $ 9 Bucks n up to $ 100 a piece in these brands . There was a lot of money tied up here. We don't expect to get top dollar but are not going to give them away either.

Any hobby stores in your area ?

Not that I have found so far. I need to do some more checking though. I was also going to see if I could find any toy soldier forums. Were all kind of a little lost on this kind of stuff. There is also a Stamp collection we are researching. Her dad had a lot of it wrote down & if we are looking at his list right it looks like it was valued around $ 40,000 in the mid 80's

My dad left me some toy's and yes I would prefer to have him around the worst part about life is death to me . Just makes you appreciate things now cause you never know when your time or a loved one's times up..
