I measured awhile back when I switched to USD forks. My CRUDE methods turned up an offest of just about 50mm.
My USD triples have a 45mm offset. Before purchasing the triples, I asked Roy (billet bike bits) if he retained the OEM offset. He said no, he reduced offset to 45mm as it allowed him to buy stock that was slightly smaller and keep costs down.
