He i want to know more about tieing off a few coils on vacum springs?

I assume it gives better response, who has tried it, and whats your results?

Also drilling slides?

I have a stock jets, right now my stock needles are shimmed but also have factory pro needles, i have a stock box with a K&N ant the y shimmed, and a marks 4into2 exhuast


Would I benifit from tied springs or drilled slide?
 
Re: tieing vacum springs

You won't see a gain in power but it will increase the rpm's that the slides open up and throttle response. I would say to not mess with the tieing method and just get new springs like come in our kit (or get our complete kit).

Otherwise I would suggest maybe smaller mains though it's been a long time since i've tried the FP needles. I think that 2 sizes smaller will be about right.
