Out of boredom and too much time on my hands I removed the cans from my UFO4-2 and took it for a spin....

I't's loud but not as loud as I would have thought, but for sure wouldn't want to drive by the Po-Po like this...gives true meaning to the SBC with a heavy cam sound.....especially at idle with the vboost open full time like mine is....... mean as hell sounding....

Took it from a stop to 130 a couple of times and didn't fell like it created any flat or weak spots in the run up through the gears....maybe some inprovement but not sure.....

It also took 9 pounds off the bike...may try it at the strip soon.....

Also, just for the record, I went back to the strip this after noon to try it out....

(I went friday and put down my best times ever)

Without the cans the bike did weigh 9lbs less.....

I cut 7 passes and lost a consistent 2 miles per hour off 1/4 mile the trap speed and about 1 mph off the 1/8 trap speed...all the times were between 11.43-11.48...Weather, temp and humidity were pretty close to the same as Friday nite, which is to say hot as ****...like 91 degrees and 85% humidity...Damn I love Houston:bang head:

I guess the motor doesn't really like open headers...had to try tho':ummm:

It did get a lot of attention tho":clapping: The Turbo Busa guys are starting to talk to me after all these years........:confused2:

On another note there were two mid 90's full size chevy short bed regular cabs P/U's there this afternoon that cut high 8's...pretty 'effin sweet....
