First, does anybody have leftover or spare rear exhaust clamps? I also need help with how to install the stock parts on the UFO exhaust because the bike came with a V&H exhaust. RonAyers shows the clamp, gasket & something called a ring stopper. Anybody got a pic of how they are oriented on the UFO before sliding on the exhaust down tubes?
Okay, now to rant a bit. Why does anybody build an exhaust that reuses stock pieces like clamps & gaskets? Probably wouldn't be so aggravated except that those 3 pieces cost $130.
EDIT: Okay, this is seriously starting to grate the last nerve. In addition to the ridiculous price for a few pieces of metal clamps/gaskets & such, dealership told me one part is on backorder until Feb. If you ever change exhausts, even if you get one that doesn't reuse the stock rear hardware, hang on to them, lock them in a safe because apparently, they are worth their weight in gold & just as scarce.
