That rear end kit (monoshock) costs $5,500 Euros alone!I can't even imagine the amount of money invested in that bike.

I'm in the don't like column myself. Little to garish for my taste. I have seen some fat tire vmaxs that I did like but not this one. The headlight juts out a little to much and doesn't really flow and the scoops in conjunction with the rest of the bike takes it too far. I've seen some plump hotties but not any who' had rolls on their rolls.
For my taste this would be no more practical but a lot more appeal.
wow that certainly is different. any specs on it? venture or vmax?
I like it, the only thing I'll never get is why people put those rear tail sections on and why guys try to make sport bikes outta Vmax's! They're way too heavy and buy the amount of time and money it takes to build it like a sportbike, you could buy a lighter faster one for Half the price. I love my big tire setup but I also kept the original Vmax styling. But to each his own. I really do like a lot about it and appreciate the work and money that's in it. Great Job!!
Why do v8 guys sink money in their rides when a Subaru four banger can spank them for much less? Why spend thousands on a motor when a couple hundred will net more horsepower from a bottle? Why do flathead motors still have hop up parts listed in performance catalogs? Why does Sports Car Club of America even exist when gocarts will post faster 0-100-0 times then any production car out there for less then the cost of econo-car?
Because somewhere there is an owner who identifies with the mystique and cares more about maximizing their machine instead of jumping on the latest and greatest whatchamacallit.
