damn post office, no wonder they're going broke and people don't use them as much any more.
I recently sent a tach converter hook up to a fellow member. It came back, I forgot to put stamps on it, my fault.
So, I put it in a new envelope put two stamps on it and away it goes. Today it came back again. Saying that the postage required is $2.07 and I only had two stamps (92 cents). So I figure something aint right.
I whip out my digital postal scale and weigh the envelope. 1oz right on the money. Being it's a normal sized envelope that is not 1/4" thick, the cost should have been for a 1oz and normal letter envelope size, 1 - 46 cent stamp. Hell, for a 2 oz envelope it would only be 2 stamps (which I had on the envelope). Even their own postage calculator shows it at just one, 46 cent stamp. So I should have had it covered with the two stamps.
