v-max VIN

Hi guys, I am new around and thanks for helping, here is the deal, I want to buy a relatively cheap V-Max from '88 but I never saw this kind of short VIN on a V-Max, can someone tell if the # are somehow correct for the '88 and what they represent?

thanks, looks like it doesn't have the v-boost, probably I won't buy it.

checking with the owner looks like it has v-boost, can this be possible, european version with v-boost and full power ?

All French market motorcycles were (are still?) restricted to 100 HP as were the early imports of bike to the UK. Later UK bikes were full power.

It is relatively common for these bikes to have V Boost added at a later stage.
