valve cover bolts and washers

anyone know of a good source for the bolts. Mine need replacing as I change the gasket. I'll be taking off the rear and from what I read I will not need to drain coolant or anything. someone on the yahoo tech group mentions removing the charcoal canister .... what the heck is that?

I hate having to order parts so was just checking if you knew of a good source for the washers.

also, hows the fitment with a venture valve cover?

Don't need to replace bolts/washers. Canister is on CA models only..Venture covers will work

+1 to this - If not leaking oil around the bolts - they should be ok - if leaking, you'll need to change the rubber grommets only.

The older style Venture model's are an exact fit on the Vmax. There's actually alot of parts that are a direct swap from the two engines.
