They are interchangable for all years, correct?

Also the bolt grommets, interchangable ?

Yes and yes.

Use Permatex Blue to seat the covers to gaskets. This makes it easier to reinstall. The Permatex isn't used to make a seal....the gasket alone does this.

DO NOT USE PERMATEX !!! DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF SILICONE ON THE vmax engine.
Silicone can fall off and get into the engine resulting in clogging oil passages and also clogging up the screen on the oil pump pick up.
I use Permatex HIGH TAC spray just to hold the gasket in place, never use silicone on a motorcycle engine. The only place I use Silicone is on the Exhaust Header Donuts, and the pipes on my Kerker Pipe.
