Vboost servo

After I took my valve covers off to get chromed I noticed that when I turn the key to on position my vboost servo doesn't go through it check, whirrly noise. It's not working. I've checked all the connection. Any suggestions.

Also I just did the cop conversion, but it wasn't working before I did it. That's when I checked all my connection, and everything seem to be correct.

Here is a pic of the plug to servo, connect 12v supply and see if the servo works. Reverse polarity to open and close servo. If the servo works, chances are youre controller is bad.

If you find your controller is bad contact Sean Morley, I'm sure he can fix you up or if you want one thats controllable but pricey here is a link to those.....http://www.micromachines.ca/

If I remember right.....if the controller is bad you could pick up an Ignitech from Dingy or Sean, they will operate the V-boost also.

I sell the micro unit as well as the Ignitech unit (which can run the vboost as well as many other cdi options like a rev limiter!)

Thanks Alorio1, just did this & servo is good so I guess the vboost control is bad.

Found the culprit. The pins in the round plug that connects the servo to the controller have come loose & wasn't making a good contact.

You can also use a dab of dielectric grease to make certain that they make good contact.
